You want in your SAP Business ByDesign -System adapt the standard queries in your views – either as an application user according to your individual needs or as a key user company-wide.

All business users can create individual queries using the personalization mode. Key users who have access to the adaptation mode in SAP Business ByDesign can change the standard query for all business users.
Application user
Click on “Advanced” in the upper right to display the advanced options for the query:
Now select a query criterion and click “Save query”.
Give your query a unique name and, if necessary, select “Use as standard query”. You can also determine whether the system carries out this automatically when you select the query or whether a click on “Start” is necessary (this is useful if there are a large number of receipts in order to shorten loading times).
Click “Organize queries” to change the standard query or to delete a query.
Options for key users
Key users can adapt the standard view for all business users in the following way:
From the Customize menu, choose Enter Customization Mode.
In customization mode, as an administrator, you can make changes to a view and test your changes before you publish them and make them available to all users.
Now select a query criterion and click “Save query”.
Give your query a unique name and, if necessary, select “Use as standard query”. You can also determine whether the system carries out this automatically when you select the query or whether a click on “Start” is necessary (this is useful if there are a large number of receipts in order to shorten loading times).
Click “Customize – Edit Layout”.
To publish your changes, click “Publish”.
You can now publish the screen layout. Check the box if you want to overwrite the individual settings of the application users for the screen layout. Click “Publish”.
Now you can exit the adjustment mode again. The standard query has now been changed for all application users.
