In today’s tip we introduce you to the SAP Business ByDesign app “SAP Business in Focus” for the iPad and show you how you can get a real-time insight into the performance of your company, no matter where you are.
preparation
First you need to add the “Business in Focus” work center to your SAP Business ByDesign solution scope and define the access rights for the end user.
You can then use your mobile device to download the app from the iTunes Store.
After opening the app, you now have the option of logging in with your usual login data.
Create a new page
In order to always have your most important information at hand at a glance, there is the option of creating several specially personalized pages.
This is done in the menu on the left by clicking on the “+”.
Customize your own page
After creating your own page, you can link your most important information to this page.
There are several options for this, such as adding external news pages, company-internal live reports or views of the most important company key figures.
Quick overview of the company
After you have personalized the page according to your wishes, you can now overview and monitor the most important information in real time.
You also have the option of getting a detailed view of the respective data by clicking on the respective area.
In the next step, you can edit reports, mark them and send them to colleagues via email directly from your iPad.
The Apple iOS app “SAP Business in Focus” gives you quick access to your company’s analytical data in real time, regardless of your location. You always keep an eye on your company.
