Today’s edition of tips and tricks is about how you can record your project times even faster and more effectively with the help of work packages.
Work packages are the link between a project task and an activity.
To create a new work package, navigate to the “Record activities” view.
Here you can use the “Manage my worklist” button to view and edit your work packages or create new work packages.

In the next window, select the work package task and the associated activity. Then confirm with a click on “OK”.
If you now select “Add time recording”, the work packages will appear on the right-hand side.
Now all you have to do is select the appropriate work package and enter the times and the job description. With this the time recording is finished.
The two biggest advantages of working with work packages are, on the one hand, that the right activity is always selected and, on the other hand, time is saved.
