Summary of the learning content
In order to meet those customer requirements that cannot be mapped in the system standard, partners can expand the SAP Business ByDesign standard solution. Partners and customers need a tool with which they can build on SAP Business ByDesign and meet specific requirements, be it a small extension or the development of a completely new functionality for an industry. SAP Cloud Applications Studio is that tool.
In this course, you will learn to develop an add-on in Cloud Application Studio that is based on a user story. It also gives you a proper understanding of different types of add-on solutions and their end-to-end lifecycle management. The course units are deepened with practical exercises.
The course begins with the creation and maintenance of business objects and the user interface. You will learn how to add extensions to a business object and how to extend related entities such as forms, user interface, data sources, and web services. You will also learn how to create and improve analytical content, define custom forms, add business configuration content, create and use web services, define internal communications, define an approval process for business objects, and protect and control access to data that is intended for custom business objects have been created.
Finally, you will get an overview of the development of country-based localizations, mashups and mobile applications.
