preparation
The preparation phase is the basis for the further implementation project and includes the following activities: drawing up a project plan, designing the organizational structure, developing user-specific requirements and specifications for the content and defining the scope of the project solution.
Fine tuning
The focus here is on system-related tasks. The organizational structure is established and all system settings are fully implemented. Key users familiarize themselves with the options for configuring the system and adapt the business processes to the needs of the company.
Data migration
Data migration refers to the transfer of data between different systems and comprises the following activities: extracting the source data from the legacy systems, cleaning up the data, supplying the migration templates, test migration, checking and migration for productive start.
Test phase
In the test phase, all business processes in the SAP Business ByDesign system are tested for their functionality. Objective: Test completion of the end-to-end business processes in the SAP Business ByDesign system, loading the data and carrying out test scenarios, solving every system or data problem.
Go live
This phase concentrates on the final tasks as well as on preparing the company and employees for going live. This includes the migration of all data into the productive system and the training of employees in the new SAP Business ByDesign system and the new business processes.
