In today’s tip, we’re going to show you the options for application users. Key users who have access to the “Business Analysis” WorkCenter in SAP Business ByDesign can create views that are available to all business users. In addition, business users can create views that only they have access to.

Open the report for which you want to create a view and edit the view according to your requirements. You can freely select the available features according to your wishes and determine their arrangement.

To save the view, click on “Save” -> “Save as”.

Give your view a unique name.

To edit a view that you have created and that has already been saved, select the relevant view and make the changes to the view. Then click on “Save” -> “To back up” -> “View”.
The current view is saved and the original combination of characteristics is overwritten.

You can choose which view should be used as the default. To do this, click on “Organize” -> “Organize view”.

Views that you have created yourself can be deleted here using the “Delete” button.
